Frank Melia - Biography

Hello, my name is Frank Melia Jr. and I love Jesus. I come from an amazing family that continually supports my dreams and goals. I feel God has called me to help others and I just want to be able to use the gifts and talents the Lord has given me, to bring glory to His name and help those in need. During my senior year of college, I became a volunteer leader of a youth group, where I had the privilege of befriending wonderful leaders and youth that have become life-long brothers and sisters in Christ. My faith grew in radical ways and my life changed. The Lord spoke to me and said He had something big on the horizon for me, but it was after I finished school. So I finished school in 2006 and then in the summer of 2007, I first visited Ethiopia and was introduced to Nikodemos and the NGO(non government organization) that he was running. I enjoyed every minute I was with them and began praying about how to help.

Within a couple of months, Unforgotten Faces was formed to help these people. Kim(co-founder) and I, then moved to Ethiopia to develop relationships with the kids and staff and make sure the donations were spent in the best interest of the donors. With the Lord as our foundation, the relationships that followed flourished. After living there for seven months, we returned to the U.S. and began to spread the word more about the organization and these beautiful children. We are truly blessed to work with these amazing people and kids and look forward to a long future with them. I am so excited to see how the Lord expands Unforgotten Faces and where he takes us!

God bless you and thank you for your support!
